• Handling and storage of bakkwa:
• – Bee Cheng Hiang’s bakkwa does not contain any preservatives. It is recommended that our bakkwa is consumed within 7 days of the purchase date.
• – Store our bakkwa in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent condensation and mould.
• – If our bakkwa is still warm after purchase unseal the pack and let the bakkwa air to prevent condensation from forming in the pack.
• – After cooling you may then transfer the bakkwa to an airtight container.
• – You may store our bakkwa in the fridge to extend the shelf life of our bakkwa. The bakkwa can keep for up to 14 days if stored in the fridge.
• Reheating bakkwa:
• – It is recommended to reheat our bakkwa in an oven for 1-2 minutes at 140°C-180°C before serving. Reheating in an oven retains the bakkwa’s moisture and tenderness.
