Yee Sang or Lo hei refers to the communal tossing of yusheng, an Asian salad dish comprising fish slices, vegetables, spices and condiments. Traditionally, the practice was commonly observed on Renri, 7th day on the 1st lunar month and throughout the entire CNY period. Lo Hei symbolises togetherness and the hope for good fortune in the coming year.
