Our festive Dark Chocolate Bûche de Noël (Dark chocolate Yule Logcake) is approximately 9″ x 3″ in size. This traditional Christmas cake is decorated to resemble a log with a cocoa flavored sponge cake that fill with cocoa whipped cream. Originating from Southern China, the tradition of giving mandarin oranges, during Chinese New Year, is known as “song gam” in Cantonese. Coincidentally, it also means “giving gold”, which the luck-obsessed Chinese have used as a symbol of conferring prosperity and well wishes to the recipient.
