Our kitchen handcrafted nonya traditional sauces are made from old family recipes using natural ingredients that include onions, garlic, chilli, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, tamarind, water and ginger.
Our kitchen handcrafted nonya traditional kaya jam is essentially a soft but thick curd or paste-like spread, that made primarily with coconut milk and eggs, subtly flavoured with pandan juices, and sweetened with sugar.

- Handling and storage of bakkwa:
- – Bee Cheng Hiang’s bakkwa does not contain any preservatives. It is recommended that our bakkwa is consumed within 7 days of the purchase date.
- – Store our bakkwa in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent condensation and mould.
- – If our bakkwa is still warm after purchase unseal the pack and let the bakkwa air to prevent condensation from forming in the pack.
- – After cooling you may then transfer the bakkwa to an airtight container.
- – You may store our bakkwa in the fridge to extend the shelf life of our bakkwa. The bakkwa can keep for up to 14 days if stored in the fridge.
- Reheating bakkwa:
- – It is recommended to reheat our bakkwa in an oven for 1-2 minutes at 140°C-180°C before serving. Reheating in an oven retains the bakkwa’s moisture and tenderness.

Care Instructions
- Store cream cakes in a refrigerator.
- Cakes should be stored in an air conditioned environment.
- Slice and serve the cake at room temperature and make sure it is not exposed to heat.
- Use a serrated knife to cut a fondant cake.
- Sculptural elements and figurines may contain wire supports or toothpicks or wooden skewers for support.
- Please check the placement of these items before serving to small children.
- The cake should be consumed within 24 hours.

- When your flowers arrive, just trim the stems and add water.
- Re-cut 1-2” of the stems at a 45 degree angle.
- Use a clean vase and clean water.
- Remove the leaves below the waterline but do not remove all leaves along the stem length.
- Check the water level daily and replenish as needed.
- Don’t place flowers in direct sunlight or near any other source of excessive heat.
- All flowers benefit from a daily mist of water.
